Software Engineer
A multidisciplinary Software Engineer Fellow who is passionate about building AI applications, data systems, and production-ready software.
About the role
You will work on real-world projects that deliver measurable value to our partners while developing practical engineering experience.
You will design and build AI-powered applications, including chatbots, multi-agent systems, knowledge management platforms, and retrieval systems.
You will also develop data pipelines that collect, process, transform, and store structured, unstructured, and real-time data for analysis and operational use.
This is a fellowship program for ambitious engineers who want to learn by building real systems, solving real problems, and working across software engineering, AI, and data engineering.
Responsibilities
- Build AI applications, chatbots, and multi-agent systems.
- Develop knowledge management and information retrieval systems.
- Build pipelines for structured, unstructured, batch, and real-time data.
- Clean, transform, manipulate, and store data for analysis and downstream applications.
- Design reliable, scalable, and production-ready system architectures.
- Use AI coding agents effectively during development.
- Collaborate with the team to translate partner problems into practical technical solutions.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Python.
- A strong portfolio of software projects, even if they are not related to AI or data engineering.
- Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
- Strong system design, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand the high-level architecture of a system and make sound technical decisions.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Ability to take ownership and turn ideas into working, production-ready systems.
